Swan Youth Project – Family Worker
Our Family Support Worker is calm, friendly and non-judgmental and can support with a wide range of worries and issues. If you are concerned that your child’s behaviour has changed recently and you need to talk to someone about it we may be able to help.
We know that the teen brain can impact on the whole family. We have lots of tips and tricks up our sleeves to try to make these years slightly less painful, so do get in touch for a confidential chat to find out more.
We have a friendly Parents Group on a Thursday from 9.15am – 11am. You are welcome to drop in for tea/coffee/biscuits and chat with other parents in a safe environment.
Referrals can be made by the family or by other professionals. More information from:

Our Young Carers and their families are supported by Sonja also. She will get to know the whole family and then look at which groups are most appropriate to attend. We offer on-going support and priority spaces to all of our groups. Our project holds the ‘Friendly Tick Award’ to show that we meet the high standards of support for all of our young carers.
